Me acabo de enterar de una noticia trágica para el mundo del videojuego. Lik-Sang, la tienda online más famosa en Internet por sus exportaciones y por el amplio catálogo disponible, cierra después de los múltiples juicios a los que se ha visto sometida por Sony Computer Entertainment Europe por vender consolas PSP a clientes europeos. Lo más gracioso del tema es que algunos empleados de la cúpula de de SCEE compraron sus consolas 2 días después del lanzamiento de PSP en Japón a través de Lik-Sang.

“Today is Sony Europe victory about PSP, tomorrow is Sony Europe’s ongoing pressure about PlayStation 3. With this precedent set, next week could already be the stage for complaints from Sony America about the same thing, or from other console manufacturers about other consoles to other regions, or even from any publisher about any specific software title to any country they don’t see fit. It’s the beginning of the end… of the World as we know it”, stated Pascal Clarysse, formerly known as the Marketing Manager of Lik-Sang.com.

“Blame it on Sony. That’s the latest dark spot in their shameful track record as gaming industry leader. The Empire finally ‘won’, few dominating retailers from the UK probably will rejoice the news, but everybody else in the gaming world lost something today.”

Jo, me siento fatal. Me da pena. Les compré 2 veces juegos y accesorios de Dreamcast porque era imposible conseguirlos aquí, y se portaron de maravilla, atención fantástica, embalaje del envío perfecto, precios inmejorables. Y pensar que hace tiempo buscaban gente para trabajar en sus oficinas de Hong Kong…

Hace años, según he leido en EOL, Lik-Sang cerró por problemas con Microsoft, Nintendo y Sony, pero volvió a abrir con nuevos propietarios. Esperemos que los propietarios sigan y que tarde o temprano la tienda vuelva a abrir sus puertas y funcione igual de bien que ahora.

Mientras tanto, tendremos que tirar de Play-Asia.

2 semanas trabajando con la mano hecha una mierda, soportando un dolor terrible por un golpe estúpido empujando unas cajas por el suelo y ahora 18 días después parece que los de la mutua de accidentes me van a dar la baja.

Estas cosas me pasan por dar siempre lo mejor de mí cuando otros, cobrando incluso más, apenas se mueven. Como mi mano no quede como antes, por mis narices que no vuelvo a trabajar en un almacén.

Otra vez será.

No soy muy dado a leerme todos los atajos de teclado de todas las aplicaciones (bueno, en realidad sí los miro pero como manejo tantas termino por no acordarme de todos ellos), pero el otro día descubrí de coña 3 atajos para Firefox de los útiles.

Todos o muchos de nosotros sabíamos del control+enter para acceder a sitios .com. Escribes en la barra de dirección el nombre de dominio, y pulsando Control + Enter el navegador añade directamente las tres ‘w‘ y el .com. Esta función heredada de Internet Explorer la implementan los navegadores de la Mozilla y recientemente Opera.

¿Pero existe algun atajo para acceder a los otros dominios más extendidos, .net y .org?

Pues sí. Si queremos acceder a un sitio .net basta con escribir el nombre de dominio y a continuación pulsar Shift + Enter. El navegador hace el resto. Lo mismo para el .org, que es una combinación de las 2 anteriores: Control + Shift + Enter.

He probado en otros navegadores y solamente los navegadores Mozilla lo implementan. Atajo rápido y eficaz si no quieres teclear o te cuesta por tener la mano vendada

Para conmemorar el inicio del curso 2006-2007 con Laboratorio de Telemática y la única clase de C con la que nos tendremos que valer para el resto del cuatrimestre.
